Five Quick And Healthy Recipes In Less Than An Hour

February is perhaps a special day for football lovers like myself. I’m very excited for Super Bowl! Did you know that Super Bowl has been around since the 60s? Earlier days were indeed interesting especially when ALF and NLF had a merging which was announced on the evening of June 8, 1966.

The Green Bay Packers won the first two Super Bowls defeating the Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders following the 1966 and 1967 seasons.

After the Green Bay Packers won the first two Super Bowls, some team owners feared for the future of the merger. At the time, many doubted the competitiveness of AFL teams compared with their NFL counterparts, though that perception changed when the AFL’s New York Jets defeated the NFL’s Baltimore Colts in Super Bowl III in Miami.

Under the merger agreement, the leagues maintained separate regular-season schedules for the next four seasons from 1966 through 1969 and then officially merged before the 1970 season to form one league with two conferences. This gave birth to Super Bowl which ran until today.

And this 2018 will be a great time for Super Bowl. If you’re like me who wants something to munch, let me share these five quick and healthy recipes which I have in times like these:

20-Minute Chicken Thighs and Couscous with Dill

Using boneless, skinless chicken thighs instead of breasts is a smart way to make sure the meat stays moist and flavorful. Plus, the grape tomatoes soften under the heat of the broiler, adding more juicy goodness to the chicken. Lots of lemon, plus dill and oregano, give the dish a Greek feel.

Greek Yogurt Oatmeal

Oatmeal is a great way to start a day! Greek yogurt goes fantastically with hot oats and makes it creamier, adds protein, and most important of all makes a standard bowl of oatmeal phenomenal! Sprinkle with some more cinnamon, if you desire.

All-American Buffalo Chicken Tenders

An upgrade of a traditional finger food, these chicken tenders are sure to be a total touchdown! They have a serious kick.

Whole Grain Chex Mix

Use whole grain cereal and crackers for a healthy, and amazingly addictive snack mix. Pack it in mason jars for a DIY stocking stuffer!

Deviled Eggs

A dish that is best served cold… (I’m not talking about revenge from Khan’s well-known line from Star Trek II) as a side dish, appetizer or a main course, often for holidays or parties.
